This Privacy Policy explains how the iOS app El Arquitecto ("the app," "we," "us") handles your information. The short version: the app keeps your settings and calculation history on your own device, sends nothing about you off your device, has no accounts, shows no ads, runs no analytics, and does not track you. The details are below. This is the same policy presented inside the app (Settings → About → Privacy Policy) and referenced from the app's App Store listing.
Who we are
El Arquitecto is developed by CypherPoet.

The data the app stores (on your device only)
El Arquitecto saves a small amount of data locally on your device so it remembers your preferences and your
work between sessions. This data is stored in the app's own local storage (iOS UserDefaults). It is not
uploaded anywhere, is not linked to your identity, and stays on your device.
The app stores:
- Settings / preferences: your angle mode (degrees/radians), haptics on/off, and personalization choices (appearance edition, accent color, texture, keypad style, and display font). None of this identifies you.
- Calculation history: the entries shown in the Log (recent expressions and their results), so you can scroll back and reuse them. You can clear this at any time inside the app.
- Custom constants: any named constants you choose to save (a symbol, a name, and a value) for reuse in the calculator.
That's all of it. The app does not store your name, email, contacts, location, photos, health data, or any other personal information, because it never asks for any of it.
What we send off your device: nothing
El Arquitecto contains no networking code of its own. The app does not transmit your calculations, settings, history, or any other information to us or to anyone else. There is no analytics server, no telemetry endpoint, and no cloud backup operated by us.
The app does include links (to Apple's standard license agreement and to this Privacy Policy), but tapping them simply opens those pages in your system browser. The app itself does not fetch or send anything when you do.
The only network activity associated with the app is Apple's own purchase handling for the in-app purchase (see below), which Apple performs through its App Store, not through any code we wrote.
No tracking, no analytics, no advertising, no third parties
- No analytics. The app collects no usage analytics or telemetry of any kind, on-device or off. It keeps no record of how or when you use it.
- No tracking. El Arquitecto does not track you across apps or websites. It does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA), does not fingerprint your device, and does not present the App Tracking Transparency prompt because it has nothing to ask permission for. The app's privacy manifest declares tracking as disabled.
- No advertising. There are no ads in the app.
- No third-party SDKs. The app bundles no third-party software development kits of any kind: no analytics, crash-reporting, advertising, or attribution libraries. It uses only Apple's own frameworks.
- No data sharing or selling. Because the app sends no data off your device, there is no user data to share, sell, or hand to anyone.
No accounts
El Arquitecto has no accounts and no sign-in. There is no Sign in with Apple, no iCloud sync, and no login of any kind. The app is fully local and anonymous. The only identity involved anywhere is your existing Apple ID, which Apple uses to process a purchase (see below).
Purchases (handled by Apple)
El Arquitecto offers an optional one-time in-app purchase that unlocks the app's full feature set. It is processed entirely by Apple through its standard in-app purchase system (StoreKit). What is offered and its price are shown in the app and on the App Store; this policy covers only how your information is handled.
- Apple handles all payment and billing information and your Apple ID. The app never sees or stores your card number, billing details, or Apple ID.
- The app does not store your purchase records. Whether you currently own the purchase is determined fresh, in memory, from Apple's purchase records each time the app runs, and is verified through Apple's secure receipt checks. Restoring a purchase is done through Apple.
Apple's handling of your purchase and account information is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
The terms of purchase are governed by the standard Apple license agreement linked in the app: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
How long data is kept, and how to delete it
Because all of your data lives on your device, you are in full control of it.
- Delete the app. Removing El Arquitecto from your device deletes all of its locally stored data: settings, calculation history, and any custom constants.
- Clear inside the app. You can clear your calculation history from the Log without uninstalling.
- There is no server-side data to request deletion of, because we hold none. There is no backend account to close and no online profile to remove.
Purchase records are kept by Apple, not by us, and are managed through your Apple ID and the App Store. To review your purchases, manage them through your Apple ID in the Settings app or the App Store, or contact Apple Support. We cannot delete Apple's purchase records on your behalf.
Children's privacy
El Arquitecto is suitable for a general audience. The app does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children. It has no accounts, no sign-up, no profile, no chat or messaging, no advertising, and no off-device data collection, so there is nothing for a child (or any user) to disclose to us. Purchases are gated by Apple's standard payment controls, which parents can manage through Apple's Family Sharing and Screen Time settings.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time (for example, if the app's features change). When we do, we will revise the Effective date at the top and post the updated policy at this same address. If a future version of the app ever begins collecting or transmitting data differently than described here, we will update this policy, the app's privacy details on the App Store, and the app's privacy manifest to reflect that before the change ships. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
